Great that you are sharing tips like this!!! We don't need more chemicals harming ourselves or our pets!!
For the white vinegar, if you can find the 10%+ stuff it works even better. Also when using vinegar, the best time to use it is during the hottest part of the day.

And now for a completely free weed killer idea, boiling water. This is an especially useful one for cracks in the concrete where you have weeds poking up. Just boil a kettle or a huge pot of water and pour it on there, and it usually does the trick on one try. The best thing about it, it's completely free!!
