As long as you have your master password, you should be able to login to your wallet. Upper right corner of this page, there is a little magnifying glass, a little pencil, then a little circle with a shadow person in it (where you can put a picture if you get into the account settings.) Click on the shadow perons, you will get a drop down box, one of the links is "Wallet." Click that, it will ask you to log in again, use your master password. Once there, you will see three headings, "Blog - Keys and Permissions - Change Passowrd" Those are links, and the middle link (keys and permissions) will open your passwords. THere is also a pretty good tutorial on how your different passwords work. Once you get your feet wet, I can show you some of the other tools that make using the site much easier. If you want a more "social" experience, there are discord chat rooms that are associated with many of the groups on steemit, I can show you how to find those if you are interested.
This is a really unique site, and now that you are here you ARE investing in cryptocurrency. You will get paid in crypto for that post and for that comment I just upvoted. Not a lot, but more than you made on facebook today lol!
It is all you, baby! I am proud of you for sticking it out. I have gotten probably a dozen people to start on here, none of them but Mark are still at all active. Even he is really only "ghost" active, trying to keep the account viable until he retires.
Yes, everything here is public. Private conversations can happen in the chat room, which has a link in the drop down menu right of your shadow person, three bars. Most people use discord instead, it has many more features than just a chat plus it has a chat.
Now another question, why when I import a profile picture does it turn it on it’s side, and how do I turn it right? It was right side up in my gallery.
Some major changes just happened, so I am a little behind on this stuff now too. Apparently you have to go to the wallet and change your settings from there, now. Let me know if that works for you, I am giving my best guess lol!

I do not know, some kind of glitch. If I edit the photo first, anything at all, it stops doing that.
I downloaded a picture but it’s not showing up on the shadow person.
