Why pruning papayas hurts

Aloha!

First of all, thank you for visiting my post. If you have ever garden then you know the pain of pruning fruit trees and many other plants. Here is the second fruitful season for my miniature papaya tree. She’s happy and is flourishing on time! Compared to my neighbors, this girl is packing some over size fruits!!!

From the touch, it’s sooooo packed together. I finally decided to prune a fruit or two to make room for the remainders to grow bigger and faster. Although I didn’t want to, the small one on bottom right is cut and then joined in a rippening bowl with three large green mangos. I see a mango and papaya salad coming.

#1...papaya still in tack..,,

#2...papaya joined mangos in fruit bowl for rippening but I think it’s too premature and looks so small...

What a sad yet brave adventure of mine. Still holding on to the one I picked. Silly, right?!!! Maybe so but that’s ok too.

Until we meet again, have a wonderful day.

Aloha!
