Hello dear friends of steemit, thank you for being present on my blog and accompanying with reading my post. As every day Monday I am posting a new informational post of regional organic foods, this interesting information I found while surfing the web, I hope it is to your liking and enjoy as much as I did when doing the post.
My passion for agriculture began as an 8-year-old boy. At that time I lived in a rural area of large land. My father and my grandparents were country people, they knew very well the processes of original planting.
At that time were not very common greengrocers of neighborhoods, in our case being a rural district was outside the conurbano, the fruit market was very removed from my home, it was vital to have a fifth with the basic vegetables in the basket.
The work of agriculture consisted of preparing the land for planting, we planted corn, manioc, squash, tomatoes, peppers, we also grew fruits, such as citrus, stone, watermelons, melons and different varieties of fruits, today I want to share with everyone You the manual process that we carried out with my grandmother and my mother in the plantation of the "strawberry". This procedure is called an organic procedure, no fertilizer or pesticide is used anymore. Only compound, black soil, hangover or cow dung.

As we can see there are different varieties of "strawberries", in today's post I want to talk about "Strawberry Creole".

The plant of the "strawberry" is relatively small, has a central stem at its tip is formed a crown called "crown" from there are released a thin stems that will give rise to the fruit and its white flower depending on the variety of the plant, Its leaves are small, the roots are small chins that can reach a foot long.

The work to plant the "strawberry" is very simple, it has five fundamental steps, to clean the earth, to remove the earth, to fertilize the earth, to plant and to transplant, it is fundamental the preparation of the land for the success of the harvest.
The strawberry begins to sow at the end of the summer, the procedure of the cultivation of the strawberry is different to another type of crop, the work begins with the preparation of the seedlings, the nursery has some compartments where we will fill with our fertile land, no Fill the top, leave a finger of space without filling, there we will place our seeds.
Place about three seeds per compartment, then sprinkle on the seeds a small layer of soil, a recommendation before placing the fertile soil in our seedbed must be well moist, the seeds before planting them must be placed in the refrigerator to be Are preparing to plant, when feeling the cold begins the process of germination.

Once we have seeded our seed of strawberry in the nursery, the nursery has to have heat and humidity of one 18 to 20 degrees, so I recommend placing them in the sun during the day and at night wrap it with a plastic to continue giving Heat, the first plants will start to emerge from 28 to 35 days.

While we wait for our "Strawberry" plant to be ready to transplant we begin to clean the surface to be planted very well, in this procedure we remove all the yuyo or the grass with a hoe of hand, as we see in the image

Once the land has been cleaned, the whole weed must be raked and removed, the weed removed, the next step is to remove the soil, a depth of 50 centimeters, this work is done so that the soil is soft and can develop Without problem the root of the plant of the "strawberry"

The next job is to fertilize the soil, fertilizer is mixed with the soil, here we use cow dung and hangover, the hangover is achieved in the forest, the leaves and sticks that fall to the ground are disseminated and Are mixed with the earth, this mixture of sticks, herbs and black soil is what we call hangover, others use previously buried garbage and scattered on the earth.
A good way to make a good home fertilizer is very simple, in some large bucket or inside a deep wheelbarrow place black soil, then add cow dung, banana peel, egg shell, coffee grounds, a little urine Human, grass hangover or dry sticks, a little ashes, a little vinegar, not much with a tablespoon is enough and if possible and get added worm, this mix well, let it rest a few days and have the best fertilizer That may exist, more organic than this does not exist.
Once the surface is fertilized, the soil must be raked again to leave the surface smooth, as we can see in the image.

When our "strawberry" plant has a 10 cm high we will be able to transplant them, for that we must prepare our souvenir, we will make a rectangle 3 meters long by a meter wide and we will cover it with a vegetal cloth as we see in the image.

Once we have made our souvenir we are able to transplant our plant "strawberry", for this we must leave a space of 15 to 20 centimeters between each plant count the vegetable cloth and plant one plant for each hole as we see in the image

To help maintain a temperature of 13 degrees we will cover the plant with a transparent nylon at night by day we will take the trouble to discover the plants, so that it does not exceed 20 degrees

The "strawberry" plant will be ready to harvest in late spring depending on the area you are in, the heat and the variety you have used in planting
