Some seeds are big like beans and pumpkin, but other are small, like lettuce and carrot. There are small tomato and pepper too, but I talk about those that saw outside in field or in our kitchen garden, not in pods in house or green house.
So, when we saw outside sometimes (or each time when you want to sow) is wind. And what can we do, that all seeds go there where we want to put, not in other place? There are simple solution.
MIX.
If we want to mix vegetables we can put together match seeds of vegetable. Like carrot and lettuce. This two vegetables support each other and because lettuce came out faster, you can see where you put this vegetable and when you pick up from soil you till the soil and carrot can grow better.
But here are more other problems. Like you put all seeds in one space and in other space is no any plant. In this situation and if we have wind you simply mix seeds with dry soil and saw together.
Here are example from yesterday and how look like when came out, because I saw a few weeks ago. It's good if you saw every few weeks and have each time and longer fresh vegetables.
I put together lettuce, carrot and radish.
Soil and seeds of carrot.
Soil, seeds of carrot and lettuce.
Soil, seeds of carrot, lettuce and radish.
Soil and seeds before mixing.
Mixed soil and seeds before sawing.
When all came out.
MESSAGE: I put soil and seeds on paper, because I have only this with myself. You can use plastic cup or something else. In paper is my sewing plan for this year.
