I've heard fish heads under tomato plants are good, I'm guessing because of that calcium boost then. I feed carp to our chickens because it's an unwanted fish here in Australia. I don't know if it's as good if it's gone through the chickens first, but my hope is that the chickens benefit first, then the plants afterwards when the composted manure goes onto the garden.
