When the cottonwood flies at my house, it looks like a snow storm. We literally have to schedule events around when this happens. Cook outs have to wait...graduation parties have to wait...eating on the deck has to wait. It is pretty, but there are thousands of little seeds flying around trying to find a home.
I can completely see why things have to be scheduled around this event! They really are everywhere! I've never seen them before though so I think it's pretty. Do you get little cottonwood trees growing everywhere?
Yes, we get little cottonwood trees popping up everywhere. When the wind blows, you have to be careful that they don't get in your eyes or your mouth. It rained today...lots. Tomorrow should be better!
