These things taste the opposite of good.
Like uber yuck. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're grapes. They came off a vine that was growing grape leaves on it, so that's my main clue.
Is there something I can grow with em or feed the soil to make em taste good next season?
Thanks in advance
Nate
Do the grapes have seeds? I've noticed when you eat the seeds, it makes wild grapes much more bitter.
I have no idea @nateonsteemit

Whats the texture like inside? I wonder if it's water thats missing? Super cool. One of my old coworkers grew her own, but i never got to see them.
I'm gonna research and experiment more.
The texture is grapey. Lots of seeds.
I'm gonna go get more some time and try some things. Gonna find out what strain they are too.
Are those mustang grapes? If they are, you have to peel the skins off as they are very tart.(acidic enough to chemical burn the inside of your mouth)
The inside is usually sweet.
I can't say one way or another, but it is probably a matter of pH.
Most of the soil here is basic, which is strange to get a high acid fruit like that.
Spiny hackberry berries are the best, but they are almost all seed.
I'm thinking it's mustang. I need to go back and see the leaves and such to make sure, but from the couple of things I've read, the bitter acidity is making me think mustang
If you can determine if they are wild Concord grapes, they make an excellent jam. We have them all over around here. Also called fox grapes, around here In New England...
lol. They look good at least!
Deceptive little devils. Look so good, but taste sssoooooo bad hahah
😂. Enjoy.
