Finally achieved red berries @papa-pepper!
After 18 months or 2 seasons of growing, it took the introduction of a different variety of asparagus before I was able to get my hands on a female root cluster. I washed the berries and saved the seeds just as you demonstrated. I then wrote a post about my process and have given you credit. :) Very cool...this open sourcing of information. Thank you.
