Red and Orange Zinnias ~ From My Garden

The Hardiest Of Garden Flowers

The Zinnia Is From The Sunflower Tribe

I plant my Zinnia flowers after the last frost of Spring. The plant will grow in any soil but prefers well drained composted soil in a sunny place. I plant the seeds at the depth of a 1/4 inch deep, water lightly daily till seeds sprout.

The plants prefer the sun and do well in hot dry climates. My Zinnias grow to 3 feet tall and some of my flowers are 3 inches across and 2 inches deep. I use this type of a Zinnia as a back border for my flower beds.

I'm a seed saver, pick my best plants and let them go to seed. The only time I buy seeds now is if I want to try growing something different.

Enjoy The Eye Candy!

That color... I'm glad I'm not color blind.

Knockout red colors carry a hefty punch😆

I don't need LSD; I now have your flowers @reddust :D

I've never tried LSD, the world I see is trippy, I seen stuff no one else seems to see. One night when my husband and I lived in Chicago we went out for dinner and he started seeing people the way I do...everyone has two faces, one they keep hidden. I can see the hidden faces, he never made fun of my stories after that night. The demons came out to play that night, they weren't after us, just having a good time getting drunk, flirting, and gorging on food. I don't need drugs💀

I've seen angels or maybe good demons (I couldn't tell the difference, I'm not Christian) and other nice beings too, so the world is not all bad, it's weird.

They are beautiful. There is nothing more pretty to have flowers in one's garden and see all the amazing colors

Thank you @bernadette, nature is the real artist in this world🌼

I like those flower colors, it makes look garden so beautiful.

Beauty is so important for my mental health, I try and grow flowers no matter where I live. @thank you @luckysteem🌼

Yes it looks beautiful. Again i really like your content

Great blooms @reddust! Having flowers in your garden is extra special. Where I live there is no garden so seeing flowers like these just make me want to go out and create a space for one! Thanks for sharing!

I've lived in apartments where the only place I had to grow anything was on my window-sill. I like growing herbs when living in an apartment. Thank you @myday.

No problem @reddust! I can't wait to have a veggie patch one day. Flowers would be a bonus too!

Very Nice Zinnias! @reddust Springs into summer with a burst of color...

Very beautiful ... will be beautiful again if more color.

I'm growing basil and an artichoke by my Zinnias, I prefer edible flowers most of the time. Thank you @jondahl🌼

very beautiful @reddust

In my place we called dahlia flower, beautiful

I've grown many zinnias and painted them, too. I especially like the heirloom, giant zinnias that look like a fireworks display! I presume you're planting heirlooms, too, if you're saving the seeds. I did the same thing and replanted year after year. Even gave seeds away to my neighbors. They're fun and I love them.

que hermosa flore . acá donde vivo no se dan ese tipos de flores ya que el climas es muy cálido pero de igual hay flores muy hermosa que en su momento estaré subiendo para compartir en esta comunidad .saludos
