True! There’s something about it that makes me feel relaxed and at ease. Gardening is the only thing in my life I do without overthinking it. It’s just a hobby, so it’s not a problem if something goes wrong. Maybe I like to keep it a bit too spontanious, because I don’t do like extended plans and calendars and stuff. I’m afraid I’ll start to think too much and take all the fun out if it.
It’s hard enough to take into considerarion companion planting (which I think is very interesting) and crop rotation (which I think is very annoying)

I always gardened very spontaneously as well; sometimes it worked, sometimes not, but like you, I enjoyed it nonetheless! Your idea of not over-thinking it is a good one I think...you'd hate to do that and suck all the fun right out of it!
Right!
Overthinking is one of my few talents - lol, I try to keep it out if the garden ;0)
haha overthinking is a curse! I used to be 'blessed' with it, but one day I simply decided to stop doing it. Was it easy? No!! But I play a head game where I envision a huge bank vault and when I begin to overthink, I imagine myself opening the vault, putting that *thought" in it, and closing it up tight! It took practice, but now it works like a charm :)
I should definitely try that...
Give it a go...you never know if it will work until you try it!
