Today i am giving a complete fixed sprinkler irrigation system design for a 1.8 acre garden, for free.
You can just adopt this head on and implement in your garden, and it will work.
I will be doing this at least once a week.
For the detailed paper work, drop in your request in the comments, and i will write you my e-mail. Don't worry, i wont ask for yours! I will give you mine, then you may contact me, and i will email you the complete paper work from A to Z!
Note. Plot size = averagely 1.8 acres
For this example, the plot size is averagely 1.8 acres, with field dimensions as indicated in the drawing below.
Notice the shed net house! This particular design is for vegetables, so the shade net house is for raising seedlings before they are transferred to the open field.
1. Field design (blocks and Sprinkler throw illustration)
For this example, we had 14-18 m radius throw sprinkler.
Accordingly, we had 5 blocks. Notice, depending on the type of sprinkler you choose, radii vary, and if you choose a longer radius, say of 23, 30 or even more, the number of blocks will reduce.
The radius of throw is determined by various factors (i will be handling what determines the choice in another tutorial).
2. Component Specifications
Here is a complete list of component specifications for the 1.8 acres plot above. You can just juts adopt this if you like. Its free!
And there you have it. You are set to start irrigating your field!
I will be running a special series on Irrigation, starting tomorrow. I will start right from the definition of irrigation, and take you through the basics until we arrive right here where we are now! Design. Its more like we have started from in front backwards.....Its my style.
So that at lest you have an idea of what awaits you farther up the road of your irrigation journey....
All drawings are mine, and original, unless indicated otherwise.
This is a test comment, notify @kryzsec on discord if there are any errors please.
