Good Time Holler Seeds | Heirloom Seed Company Spotlight

in #gardening3 years ago

I noticed a big trend with YouTube gardeners and homesteaders lately and that is they really only promote a couple different seed companies. The big ones I hear talked about are Bakers Creek and MIgardener and Hoss Tools. I decided that I wanted to push a few other companies into the light for everyone that I believe are right up there with the quality of Baker Creek and MIgardener and Hoss Tools. So in today's video I talk about some friends of mine and their small heirloom seed company Good Time Holler. This is a family run business, where they grow all their seed stock on their very own homestead.

I've never heard of that melon! Why is it so popular? I'm growing turban pumpkins and everyone who sees them thinks they're toys!

There's a big youtube channel that always talks about the Kajari melon so in the gardening groups it's often talked about. The seeds usually sell out fast where available. It also is a good melon for urban spaces which is where we grow in since it's fruits are only 2 lbs so it can easily be trellised.

I'm officially sold on this melon! I'm going to buy it!
