Earasi is a process in which air in the planting medium is replaced by air from the atmosphere. In the planting medium is well aerated, soil air has a similar composition to the atmosphere above it. Poorly aerated soils usually contain more percentage CO2 and O2 percentage certainly fewer than the atmosphere above it. Aeration level-dependent largely on the volume and continuity of pores filled with air in the soil
