I just keep my head down and look

  1. Living folklore
Jojo is a device that grinds rice while shaking it in water. Because it is light and needs to drain well, the rice cooker is perfect for cooking. In Korea, on New Year's Day, there is a custom of buying dishes for a year at once and hanging them on the wall with thread or candy. It was called 'bokjori', meaning that it was made to float like a rice cooker.
The bamboo was mainly used for crafts, medicinal and ornamental purposes. The stem is thin and flexible, so it can be bent and twisted easily. In addition to cooking, it was widely used as a material for various living utensils of the ancient people, such as small boxes, keys, and baskets.
The leaves were also wrapped so as not to damage the rice cake. Because the leaves are always green, they decorate the winter landscape beautifully.
