We have gathered stones from many different people in trades at different shows and different times, not really sure where this watermelon tourmaline originated.
We are rockhounds and dug up some tourmaline crystals many years ago. If people doubt that rocks carry energy, they need a nice tourmaline crystal! It REPELS dust. Not every speck, but most dust will get pushed aside, the charge of the tourmaline "resists negativity" is how my favorite book describes it, and that fits very well with the list you made. Lovely piece, just beautiful!
Interesting observation! Yes it is well known amongst crystal and stone people that tourmaline is very powerful, yet the "mainstream" seems to be unaware of some of the more amazing properties of these gifts of nature.
