When I wrote in my younger years I myself was not good at making people stay attached to the story and I can now look at those as rough drafts or trash. One thing about writing too is you shouldn't do it so young until you have a way to grasp your content. Though I admit there are some gifted writers out there with great work that should be consumed but only in light doses as they contain no precipice of philosophical or thought provoking ideas hidden in the work and it's all consumed at a target audience.
