PinkNews.co.uk reports that the only gay prince in the world (so far), Manvendra Singh Gohil, of the Maharaja of Rajpipla in the Indian state of Gujarat, has announced that he will open up his palace grounds to members of the LGBTQ community who need help after coming out of the closet.
Indian society places a heavy emphasis on the continuation of the family line, which is done through male children, which often leaves many families in India considering a homosexual child - especially a gay male child - to be a dishonor on the house. The prince explains that children in India are usually financially dependent on their parents, only to become destitute if they are disowned and shunned by their parents after coming out. The prince hopes that his efforts, along with the help of local LGBTQ charity The Lakshya Trust, will make it easier on gay Indians who have been disowned by their families and / or made homeless as a result of coming out.
PS: Why am I just finding out that there's a real life royal gay prince?

Thanks so much!
That is a great act of charity. Since there are many boys that come out of the closet and lose their families... Very good act...
I agree!
