Differences between the book and movie:
1.The book has more detail then the movie.
2.The movie has scenes that’s not in the book.
3.The book paints a picture in a way that the movie doesn’t.
4.The way the book is structured is different to the way that the movie is.
5.The book makes more sense than the movie.
The difference between the two is that the book explains every detail that is not in the movie. The book allows a person to use their imagination on the detail it gives. There are scenes in the movie that are not described in the book. For instance, in the movie there is a scene at his first football practice Leigh-Ann told Michael that he has to treat his team mates like they were his family, he has to protect them like he would with her and Sean Junior [SJ]. What stood out the most to me was when he told her that when he was little his mother would tell him to close his eyes when she would do all the wrong things and when she was done she would say he must count to three and open his eyes and that the past should stay in the past. However, in the book it states everything in detail that happened in between the scenes in the movie so that it can be short and interesting to. In my opinion I prefer the book because the book allows a person to think more and to be open minded for you to use your imagination.
