Paint is a simple and practical tool to edit images (Very useful for those of us who publish in #Hive) without so many complications that it is in most of the computers of the world. A few tips for those who are just starting out and a refresher for those who are not so new, let's get started!

We start making a screenshot that we are seeing at this time, we do by pressing the key "ImpPnt Pet Sis" We are going to start in the Windows Logo which is usually at the bottom left and we click right. There will be displayed (if you have Windows 7. Because for other windows may vary) something more or less like this.

Underlined in Yellow is Paint, we click right on the Paint Program

This will appear to us:

Right click and maximize in the "MAXIMIZE" box at the top right to zoom in on Full Screen Paint and work better.

Type the popular "PASTE" or press the "Ctrl + V" key to reflect the desired capture.

As the image is very large we can adjust the zoom, which is located at the bottom right and is in yellow in the image, being able to right click and hold the tab (between the circle with minus sign or in the circle with plus sign) sliding to the right or left or right clicking (in the circle with minus sign or in the circle with plus sign) to zoom in or out of the image, depending on the intention. In this case we want to see the entire captured image in Paint.

We save the image by right clicking on the diskette (shaded in yellow) from "Save As" on the top right".

You put the name to the image in the "Name" box and where it says type you can choose the type of image format you can use to save your image, according to your preference, personally I always save in png file because it is light and retains good image clarity but it is a matter of taste.

Up to this point we have learned how to take a screenshot from the PC. It is important to highlight that the PC screenshots are saved very light in size and with good resolution, as we can see.

Now we proceed to open the image in Paint to be able to make simple edits like for example: The crop.

We open Paint and open the saved image from Paint.

Right click on the top left hand side of the screen where it says "Select".

A "Cross" will appear which is to select the area to be cut or to be saved.

When that cross appears, you can only place it in the corners of the image because the crop is only based on "frames". A box will appear in lines of dashes of the selection, we give you click on the top that says crop.

We cut out the image and the desired image will appear which we will then save in the "Save" option at the top right or by pressing the "Ctrl + G" keys

Another way is by right clicking on "Select" and right clicking on any of the points around the figure (those that appear in yellow), when a double-headed arrow comes out; dragging as you wish and dropping until the desired cut is achieved.

Paint es una herramienta sencilla y práctica para editar imágenes (De mucha utilidad para quienes publicamos en #Hive) sin tanta complicaciones que está en la mayoría de las Computadoras del mundo. Unos tips para quienes comienzan y un refrescamiento para quienes no son tan nuevos. ¡Comencemos!

Iniciamos haciendo una captura a la Pantalla que estamos viendo en este momento, lo hacemos presionando la tecla "ImpPnt Pet Sis" Nos vamos a inicio en el Logo de Windows que por lo general está en la parte inferior izquierda y hacemos clik derecho. Alli se desplegará (Si posees Windows 7. Porque para otros windows puede variar) algo más u menos así.

Subrayado en Amarillo está Paint, hacemos clik derecho en el Programa Paint

Nos aparecerá esto:

Clik Derecho y maximizamos en el cuadro "MAXIMIZAR" en la Parte Superior Derecha para ampliar en Pantalla Completa Paint y trabajar mejor.

Tecleamos el popular "PEGAR" o presionamos la tecla "Ctrl + V" para poder reflejar el capture deseado.

Como la imagen está muy grande podemos ajustar el zoom, que está ubicado en la parte inferior derecha y que está en amarillo en la imagen, pudiendo hacer clik derecho y manteniendo sostenida la pestaña (entre el circulo con signo menos o en el circulo con signo más) deslizando hacia la derecha o la izquierda o haciendo clik derecho (En el circulo con signo menos o en el circulo con signo más) para ampliar o disminuir la vista de la imagen, según sea la intención. En este caso queremos ver la imagen capturada completa en Paint.

Guardamos la Imagen haciendo clik derecho en el disquete (Sombreado en Amarillo) de "Guardar Como" en la Parte Superior Derecha"

Colocas el nombre a la imagen en la Casilla "Nombre" y en donde dice tipo puedes escoger el tipo de formato de imagen que puedes usar para guardar tu imagen, según tu preferencia, en lo personal siempre guardo en archivo png porque es liviano y conserva buena nitidez de imagen pero es cuestión de gustos.

Hasta este punto hemos aprendido a realizar una captura de pantalla desde la PC. Es importante resaltar que las capturas de PC se guardan muy livianas de tamaño y con buena resolución, como podemos apreciar.

Ahora procedemos a abrir la imagen en Paint para poder hacer ediciones simples como por ejemplo: El recorte.

Abrimos Paint y abrimos la imagen guardada desde Paint.

Haremos clik derecho en la parte izquiera superior donde ice "Seleccionar"

Aparecerá una "Cruz" que es para seleccionar el área a recortar o que queremos guardar.

Cuando aparezca esa cruz, solo puedes situarte en las esquinas de la imagen porque el recorte es solo en base a "cuadros" mantienes presionado clik derecho y deslizas luego sueltas hasta que hayas seleccionado el área deseada. Saldrá un cuadro en lineas de guiones de la selección, le damos clik en la parte superior que dice recortar.

Recortamos la Imagen y aparecerá la imagen deseada que luego guardaremos en la opción "Guardar" arriba a la derecha o presionado las teclas "Ctrl + G"

Quedándonos así:

Otra forma es haciendo clik derecho en "Seleccionar" y clik derecho en alguno de los puntos alrededor de la figura (los que aparecen en amarillo), cuando salga una flecha con doble punta; arrastrando como según desees y soltar hasta lograr el recorte deseado.
