I think that everyone by now knows that Donald Trump managed to win the elections and is now the new President of America. Most of the people i know thought that he wouldn't win while i was stating the opposite. Now note that it's no like i am pro-Trump and my honest opinion is that both of them are below average in terms of managing a county.
America has managed throughout all this year to have some of the smartest people literally in every sector and yet we came down to these 2 as the next presidents while the previous one Biden, even though he seemed like a good guy was unfit for President due to his sickness or simply his age that led him to almost forget everything.
Now even though i am not an America the elections are something that we all have watched as it will pretty much affect mostly everyone i bet. We are talking of one of the ruling powers worldwide so the decisions that Trump will take will affect a lot of the countries as well.
There are many different reasons as to why he won if you ask me, like Kamala had actually no plan and she mostly never spoke about what she would actually do, she just kept on talking without saying anything of value and specific. Literally the woman had a spot played in Arab-populated cities that she will support Gaza and another one in Jewish-populated cities staying that she is with Israel :p
On the contrary Trump, while i think he will also do what he wants and make more money again, he was constantly speaking on most of the people's hearts stating issues that actually affect their everyday lives like jobs, economy and better salaries, criminality levels and how he will deal with, ending of the wars, ending of the woke agenda etc etc. I don't know whether he will do a single thing of what he promised but people believed him and voted for him.
Now the reason as to why i see many similarities with Greece is that because Greece is basically following the same agenda as were the democrats. All day long we keep on hearing on the news 3 things.
- Implementing the woke agenda everywhere if someone has an opposite opinion he/she is a fascist.
- That the economy is doing great and that we are all great.
- Constant increase in violent crimes, rapes, fights and in general rise of criminal activity.
Now as you can image if number 2 is true then number 3 should be out of the board and vice versa. The sad truth and if you look Eurostat Greece is almost in every analysis in the last spots, our actual income is getting less and our savings were -% while mostly every EU country besides Poland had a +.
In 2022 we were at -4% and now we are at -5%. This indicates that basically not only we do not save any money but instead we are losing money each year which will basically leads if this going on to more people being poor, more homeless people, the rise of criminal activity etc etc.
To make it worse the government always talks about how they are helping the citizens and how they are taking measures to ensure that more children will be born. The reason of these statements is that Greece is one of the top list countries in the WORLD that has way more deaths that births.
What the government is planning to do and gave us a glimpse? They will tax the gifts we give to our beloved friends and family that are getting marries. Did you buy a mixer for them? Extra Tax. Do you want to give money to the couple? No problem, 10% fee if you are a first-degree family member, 20% if you are 2nd degree and it can go up to 40% taxation. Say you want to give 1000$ to your best friend for his wedding? Think again, 400$ of your already taxed money will go to the government just because.
I can do this all day long, the examples are everywhere. All in all with policies like this and logic like the one the Democrats have even if the people don't like a party like the Republicans or something similar in Greece they will vote for it out of desperation and anger because they are sick and tired of people taxing them without providing nothing, talking about whether we will have mixed baths to avoid being called racists, while people literally can't afford to pay their rent or food. Hopefully i am dead wrong and we see brighter days!
