Brassica crop harvesting is continuous during these days in Pakistan. The season is now very good because last day there was nice temperature for its harvesting because the rain spell has passed and now there is good sun shine and we can have best yield of the brassica crop. We have to manage to control its post harvest losses because it has been shattered if we delay a little bit because its pods can not hold the seed for long time. First of all we should have harvest well in time then we can manage to control its loss , then we have to manage for its storage.
When it is harvested then after combine , when combine dump it in the open field , then we have to pack and transport very quickly to the store house. Because in the open field it has a great risk of spoilage the whole grains due to rain. Because during these days rains is un-expecting and that can spoil it. Therefore we have to take urgent action to transport the rape crop grain to the store house for its safety. I hope this season will be the best season for the rap crop in Pakistan, which will boost the socio-economic conditions of the Pakistani poor farmers.
