Cat Witch Dysmorphia

I was using Midjourney last night in a different way. I uploaded a photo of myself, then added various prompts to that photo. My favorite prompt result was fantasy cat witch.
Some of the results gave me cat ears which were rather alien-like. Other results showed a cat on my head which made me giggle. Overall, I would say that I prefer the AI version of myself over the real version lol.
I was reading today about obsessive-compulsive related disorders and one of them is body dismorphic disorder. BDD is basically an obsession with perceived flaws almost to the point of being delusional about them. Snapchat dysmorphia is a term used to describe the negative emotions that someone feels when they see an unfiltered photo of themselves. I had that feeling last night after looking at the picture of myself compared to all these fantasy based AI versions. The interesting thing about snapchat dysmorphia is that some people actually go to the extreme by having plastic surgery to look more like the filtered versions of themself.
In other news, it's been a stressful week. Lots of changes recently. I've been working on my Master's Degree for a while now so maybe I'll start posting more about that.
