I love all places with elevated views, whether it's Alexandra Palace in London, or Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles.
So I can't imagine how much more special a temple like this must be, where the elevation is in the spirit as well as the geography.
The dragon stairs are stunning, and tempt me into climbing the ladder stairs to my attic, where, my old Dr. Strange comic collection sits in a musty old cardboard box, untouched in a decade or more.
Within those pages, I dreamed of Kathmandu, monasteries and magic and Marvel.
I guess you must be a 1,000 miles from Kathmandu geographically, but in spirit, not so far. :)
