GILMAN, Ill. (WCIA) -- Nearby businesses are being evacuated due to a fire in downtown Gilman. It is happening at the corner of North Central and 2nd Streets.Firefighters say it started just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the old Gilman Lumberyard building at 114 West Second Street.Everyone got out safe.Eight different departments are helping battle the fire due to the heavy winds.This is a developing story, we'll continue to keep you updated as we learn more.
