RE: Celebrating a small milestone, 2000 followers! - Giving away some SBD

in #giveaway7 years ago (edited)

I don't think this bot should speak on behalf of "the community" @pleasestop @najaninshemu that is a highly misleading statement and a lie. Your bot is a LIAR.

I feel that this bot is spamming and using excessive bandwidth. Statements of Affirmation are valid expressions of love. Not everyone here is American either, great at English, or akin to writing long paragraphs. Who made you god? Did you make yourself a Steem cop?

How about you remember that Steemit is not Steem and that your expectations will need to rapidly evolve as new dapps are created.

Education and transparency might be helpful but representation and reprimanding is not. You simply do not have the jurisdiction, and are out of bounds, over-reaching, overstepping, and pushy.

Passive aggression is still aggression.

A message like the following would be less offensive:

You just said "beautiful post" again and have 36 similar comments. You have not been flagged. These types of repetitive comments are the reason why your Steem Sincerity API classification scores are Spam: 52.80% and Bot: 2.30% @pleasestop is a bot here to help you improve your score by reminding you that users may interpret these kinds of comments as spam and flag you. We want your experience here to be better if you'll let us help you! Here you can read about how to improve your commenting which could help you gain more rewards from the community for awesome comments.

And how about a friendly avatar. You have no actual authority here and this bot give a false impression of authority. This is one single person's self-appointed self-righteous mission and I realize it's well-meaning but it undermines the core principals of liberty when one overreaches their liberty to impede on the liberty of others.

Hmph
