Well, this happened: I got one year older today!
Last year I levelled up from my twenties into my thirties, and I've had a year to recover from that shock. Today I'm all cool and relaxed and acting like I know what I'm supposed to be doing in my adult thirties. Because, well, I've been living them for a full year now ;-)

Today, (yes, on my birthday! Perfect timing!) I received the very well-crafted and simply beautiful leather STEEM wallet from the talented @armadilloman!
He put up the wallet on @steembay and I was the 'winning bidder'. Now, honestly, that shouldn't have happened since more people should have been bidding on the gorgeous item, so for future reference: follow @armadilloman and support his work! He does super cool giveaways too and I'm deeply impressed by the quality of his work. It really feels like this wallet will survive anything, so sturdy!

As for Steem Basic income: It's quite simple: you enrol and get upvotes! And you can only enrol if you also give another Steemian's name, so that person gets upvotes too! :D

Myself I was a little bit shocked at my 25th birthday (it strike to be that I had been closer to thirty than twenty) and a little less at my 35th, but after that I just stopped counting :)

Happy birthday!!! Congrats! Ahhh the 30’s. My birthday is in August, just when school starts. As a principal, I can’t take off right at the beginning of the school year. This year I’m just going to wait until Labor Day weekend, when I know I’ll be off on Monday. By then I should be another 20 pounds lighter so I plan on celebrating by going clothes shopping.
