LOL yes people still use those. Not everyone uses iPads. I personally hate tablets and prefer computers myself. My son prefers desktop computers because tablets just don't have the power computers have. And when I am editing I prefer using a mouse instead of my tracking pad.

My iPad Pro is pretty powerful. Easily beats a 3-4 years old lower end laptop. Gaming, obviously that's a different experience. It is a gaming device but the gaming is different.

The computing prowess of the iPad Pro is bound to bring a whole new suite of apps, high-level photo editing and video editing apps, to the device. But it's expensive a tool.

Not my main device though, my 15" MBP is. Somewhere I also have a Mini as HTPC running, and when working on heavy computing tasks, its (DIY) hybrid SSD config also gets to do some crunching. My mini farm LOL.

But trackpads FTW. I also use a Wacom (to replace the old 7-button mouse in functionality and then some).
