He pulled on the bellows, pumping air into the small airshaft that led to the small pipe underneath the rock. The air in the pipe forced the small coal used as first power source to flare. It's heat, turned to steam, turned the gears and a huge amount of air was sucked into the huge bellows and the big gears slowly turned, gathering momentum as they moved. There was the whistle of strain, then a crack and the house lifted off the mountain and gradually rose into the sky. He turned to her and smiled. They were finally leaving.
