RE: My Trans-Mongolia Railway Pictorial Journey Part 3: From The Intriguing Irkutsk, Siberia To Magnificent Moscow

in #globaladventure7 years ago

What an adventure. I would love to do something like this one day. My only problem is that I have problems sleeping at trains and buses. My longest trip by train took around 24 hours, and I hardly got any sleep. But maybe it is something you have to get used to? Great write up, and nice pictures!

I suggest getting some ear plugs. I have no problems sleeping on the train. But I had a hard time adjusting to just taking sponge baths.

After a couple of days I guess one gets used to feeling dirty :)

Ha ha. Not exactly as in Borneo we have summer the whole year round and I am used to taking a shower everyday. Following you.

It's cold here in Norway. But i don't drink coffee. so a morning shower is what wakes me up and gets me going :)

That is a good strategy.
