Foremost example is, in Bhutan buildings are traditionally built of rammed earth, stone and timbers with their distinct and unique style. There are three main types of buildings: the imposing Dzongs (fortresses) which used as administration and a religious head quarter in each district, houses and religious structures of various kinds(from large temples to small chortens or stupas).
However, due to intertwining with modern technology, modern building is built with some improvements without vanishing the core idea of Bhutanese tradition. In capital of Bhutan most of the new buildings are constructed of concrete, glass and steel which are more readily available. So, by the law traditional Bhutanese architectural decoration must be incorporated in modernize building
