How can you tell if your fruit or vegetable is organic or not? What type of classification is it? All of us have been in health stores like Wholefoods and less health food stores like Trader Joes to name a few. But many times you have to sort and see what you are buying, otherwise it comes from the same distributor as most local stores at a 100% or more markup, because you are at a trendy store :). I support Whole Foods and do some shopping there among other stores, but I follow a rule, Read the labels. If the producer is ethical, the crop is not sprayed with herbicides or pesticides rather sprayed with an organic natural source or the use of cow manure or part of a compost for example, you will taste it and see a more vibrant product.
You want to eat from a farm that has a rich soil and has more nutrients at the end of the day. What the chemicals and fertilizers do is poison us and extract the minerals and vitamins from the soil. Support local and support those who feed you the right way!!
