The storm has finally passed. Everybody seems happy about it, but there is still a lot of cleaning up and repairing left to do.
This morning after the storm calmed down and we got back to a normal range of vision, I went out to look for one of my golems that hadn't returned from a mission. I was worried that he got completely destroyed or maybe even was stolen by somebody. But I was happy to find out that he just got stuck in a sand dune. Took me a while to dig him out, but luckily he at least had enough power left to walk back to the compound.
They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but it turns out that you can teach a golem how to sweep up sand. I got pretty frustrated with all the cleaning I still had to do and decided to teach my golems to do some of the work for me. Luckily it worked out pretty well. I am so over this sandstorm right now, and can't wait to get back to regular life.
