Not all of us are multi-tasking so one of the big reasons why people fail is because they try to do multiple things at the same time. It's important to prioritize the goals and then put energy in each one of them accordingly. Focus is the key. There are distractions but one can avoid them if the focus is on the ultimate goal and not the distractions. There is a huge majority of people who fail because when they start there energy level is touching the maximum heights. They start working on a dream by setting some goal in there view. Expectation vs reality...coming out of comfort zone is difficult. It requires a lot of motivation that is required on continuous basis. You quit because you lose enthusiasm after finding that you could not keep pace with your set target. So, this reality vs your expectation makes you feel demotivated and you give up on your dreams. A flexible timetable with an optimistic viewpoint will help you keep moving on because regardless of how small you do in a month, you would still be happy that you did something. So, always looking at the brighter side can help you achieve your goal. It might seem small but eventually, it's what can slowly and steadily bring you out of your comfort-zone. Great post @jwolf.
