Subjective benefits. This remark leads us to another consideration - to these subjective supports that philosophical activity finds in the climate of Christianity. Above all, in what concerns not only the actions but also the origin of the philosophy of the habitus, it can be noted that what is truly natural in the healthy sense fulfills a function, so to speak of a spiritual matrix in the formation of the intellectual habitus. In this way, this natural reason is supported by religion. The latter assumes us in a world of things and human personality, the nature of which has distinct features and where we are about to make a choice between yes and no.

Drawing on Mr. Piaje's research, Leon Brunswick often confirms that scholastic mentality - that is childhood mentality typical of children aged eight to eleven years - also think that insofar as these tests are fair, they only concern comparisons. This affirmation could be risky and add-on abounds in mistakes, but in one respect we like it too much. Happy is this philosophy that has not lost its relevance to childhood, which preserves not infantilism, but the vital force and the reserve of original confidence that has been formed in us since the awakening of the Word of the Word, sanctifying every man coming into this world! She will control, she will criticize this confidence, she will not leave her at rest. But let us talk about the work of the spirit, once born in philosophy. It has a definite improvement in the intellect. in Aristotle's opinion, this is the highest degree. in the opinion of St. Thomas, philosophy, being natural in itself, remains low in terms of the collection of theological virtues and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Thus, the superior virtues help the lower in their own sphere, the power of faith makes the philosopher, who in a purely rational way knows God's being, acquires through reason with even greater power this truth. Through this nascent habitus of contemplation, he clarifies, reconciles, spiritualises the philosophical habitus in his own sphere. In the world of theology, metaphysical truths appear in such a lively and real luster that philosophical labor becomes lighter and more fruitful, and that metaphysics, not experiencing the attraction of theology, can not overwhelm people in their heads their finest outlines, but theology also can not acquire them without attracting the innate wisdom. This synergy and this vital solidarity, this dynamic continuity of the "habitus" in the opinion of the tomists who distinguish not to separate, but to unite and enhance the importance of philosophical activity and exacerbate the subjective moment.

There are other benefits related to the area of the final goals. Appears to be a prince or minister, this does not change the nature of man, but he very much changes his position. The appearance of Christianity in some sense has removed the philosophical wisdom from the throne to exalt over it the theological wisdom and wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Sort:

Great piece. If someone want to practised Christianity as a true born again. He must wait for the direction of the holy spirit which guides direction. But if he want to practised it using the law, he will just be practising religious without doing what God really wanted. That is why Christianity have been changed all around today
