- How is it any of your business if I buy upvotes? If I didn't use my stake to support new users, I could see a problem, but all I do is upvote new users and their intro posts. Where is the problem in that?
- How do I not know how the bots work? I pay the bot, the bot boosts my post. I use the increased rewards to support more new users.
- How am I making anyone else "suffer losses"? I never close out a voting window. If anyone "suffers losses" from buying an upvote, it is because someone overbid the voting window after me.
- How am I losing money? Pretty sure my account is growing, where is it I lose money?

my point was that you voted 25 SBD on a bot that had 30 left over in the last minute before the bot would run out...
In my opinion this will almost certainly make sure that this will mix with other votes coming in and will result in negative upvote (in this case -7%)
this was not me judging you for using bots, because then I would have to judge myself
Sorry if I seem a little jaded. I had a run in with grumpycat not long ago, and already argued most of this. When I sent my bid for a vote, there was still a "profitable bid window" of about 60 SBD. I try not to over bid any given bot/vote. The other bids came in at the same time as mine, which is what closed the window. The bot tracker said there was still a profitable bid. Normally I don't vote so close to the end of a bid window, for exactly that reason. "Shit happens" as the saying goes. This was just bad timing.
