"What makes people poor is not enough to make them rich, so they waste it." ~ PrinceOla
#### REDUCE; Most of the time I wonder how people misuse things and still be complaining of not having enough. We will manage to pay bills - Not because we don't want to but because we have a lot to pay for. But, we will still be the very ones to waste most of the things we hardly paid for, even if we paid them comfortably, we should never forget people who have nothing to pay with and some people, who have not eaten and have no hope.
We waste water, waste energy, waste money, waste opportunities, waste data, including the relationship we had with people around us. Haba!... Some people will go extra lent to over-drunk and eat when they are invited. lol... You're not doing anyone but yourself. One thing is, there is a space between RICH and POOR which is called MIDDLE-CLASS. Middle-class is more comfortable than poor people and people can decide whether to be middle-class or poor. But not having the act of REDUCING will not let them stay in this circle. Don't you call yourself middle-class yet, if you can't afford to pay for your monthly subscription. My brother and sister, if you can't, then you're poor and you should read this article till the end.
Most people who jumped from being poor to rich usually come back to being poor. Because the normal steps are to become middle-class and then be rich. Being able to manage what you have very well can give you a step up to middle-class in no time.
REUSE;
In our society today, almost every corner is filled with dirty plastics, bottles, and papers. These are because we don't have REUSABLE plastic, bottles and most of these things we use day-to-day. In Nigeria, pure-water can not be sealed in a paper, but think of it, if you have your own personal water bottle filled with water close to you always, you will not litter the flour wherever you go until you get back home.
Are you proud of living in a dirty atmosphere? if not, aside from cleaning your home and surroundings, get reusable products is one of the good things to do, go to the market with a bag you can use again after first used instead of nylon bag, in other to help the society we lived in.
If it takes 400 years for single nylon to be fully dissolved but you and your neighbors used up to 50 to 500 every day, think of it that y'all have REUSEABLE products. It will go a long way to help all of us and also save the world for us, our children and children children.
In one way or the other, this will also help us to save more money while we and our neighbors also grow healthy in a clean society.
RECYCLING;
If you're an African, have you ever wonder why we have "Tokunbo" products everywhere? tokunbo motor, tokunbo clothes (Akube :d), shoes, phone, laptop, and some Africa countries have Tokunbo President. I don't know how those things get in here and I don't really want to know but to say the fact, they have been so helpful to millions of Africans since the time I don't know, since not all of us can afford to buy new products. In fact! A new product is too costly, as a middle-class person that I am, Biko! give me tokunbo like that. lol...
The good thing is that we can turn most of our old things to new too, instead of buying, buying and buying. People dirty every corner of the street with things they can actually renew and reuse. "Old trouser can be turned to nicker, Old shirt can be re-dyed to another color and or stylish it for better re-use, old trucks tires can be reused to make a chair, used plastic bottles can be recycled for floating raft and many more". These will not only keep our world clean and hygienic but will also help to save more money.
I will advise people to stay green by Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.
Wise words. Keep it up! We only have one planet ( even though Elon Musk talks and prepares for settling on Mars )
Lol, yes. We only have one.
