Futuristic sunset in Saint-Petersburg. Around the world in 80 years..

in #goldenhourphotography7 years ago (edited)

In beginning of this summer I was back in my hometown Saint-Petersburg and had a few nice boat trips there with my friends, here the sunset on most futuristic zone in all city. This alien ship named “Zenith Arena” it is a one of the most expensive buildings ever build for sport games. Cost's like the Coliseum with Egyptian Pyramid together, I believe.

Unfortunately stadium can be damaged by seagulls! It was what builder said when automatic systems of the roof was not working somehow.. That made a huge wave of Mem's in Russian internet universe in this summer.

Next to it lays international port and highest building in Saint-P -”Gazprom Tower” under construction process.

Who are saying there is not  any political opposition to "Gazprom" or such powerful structures in Russia? Here it is, look!

This handmade port stays just in front of the tower there is one little ship and two domes. As I understood little ship goes on strike, and put a poster. Guys from the domes was just having good time there. They invited us to visit their little port, so we did, and had some drinks with them. Back home we were going under beautiful full moon, but this is totally different story..

Poster on the ship means - “Apocalypse already close to us”

I was visit my home town Saint-Petersburg first time in last 5 years. Stories about it you can read here, if you are interested.

There seems to be a lot of things happening in St. Petersberg... went there for 24 hours over 10 years ago. Didn't get to see anything of the city and I start in a strange, fancy hotel where the breakfast buffet was served on a stage inside their theater. So bizarre .. I loved it!

yes in 10 years change a lot, but still a lot of bizarre things. and always will be of course.. but you should go there for 91 days isnt it? ,)

We would love to go ... BUT not in the winter!!! Hahahh

yeap thats good idea ) but anyway its only 60 sunny days a year statistikly.. this year was just 12 days i guess. If you love museums and such things you should stay in central part of city, you ll be never bored then

12 Days .. ok ... changing my mind again .. haha! Just kidding, we would love to do a For 91 Days there.

Actually because of weather I'm quite rare guest there.. so I can understand.. ))

Totally doesn't look like the Russia i know ..

last photos really does look like ))

magnificently!
