The picture really doesn't show how hard it was raining.
It took quite a while to get a shot that did some justice to the storm but I'm still not entirely satisfied. Either way, the storm ended so I've just picked the best photo. I'm still learning about photography but I feel that its slowly improving. Any comments or constructive criticisms would be greatly appreciated!

Try experimenting with your zoom and getting right up to things. The way I did my mielie photo was by zooming a bit on my phone so that it focuses on the mielie, blurring the background. Play around with it a bit. Pretend you are the size of a rabbit or an ant. What would they see? I did that with the butterfly bush photo.
