Thank you! Grand Haven lighthouse is one of my favorite lighthouses in Michigan, and I got to photograph it twice! (And I do hope to return for more photography..!) This is Saint Joseph Lighthouse.

Such a high energy image. Of course, the colour is absolutely spectacular as well as the sharply defined geometry as it contrasts against the sky. But what really draws me are the layers of water, the small 'swell' coming towards me, smashing against the pier walls. So surreal. Resteemed. 🦋

Beautiful sunset. Glad your camera survived. I was so nervous the first time I pointed my camera at the sun for a long exposure, and that was with 3 ND filters screwed on the lens. The camera survived but the images were kinda pink. The gold you captured here and the spray of the crashing wave is simply beautiful.
