If this all we care to slip,
If this all we care-not see.
If this all we brought to sea,
After all our plight we wish to sing,
Arise o compatriots,
All in disarray we pitch and sing.
Oh! This journey across the lands,
Crawling through the hands of dusts ,
And i marvel at this rot i see.
For like the ram tied to a stake,
We deep our hands into our depths to pay,
I cry for all this i see,
The sweat of my people they give,
To some unshameful whale who wait to take.
