We serve a great God. The greater than the greatest. When the ark of covenant was brought into the camp in 1Samuel 4: 5-7, the people of Israel shouted so loudly that earth shook such that the Philistines heard and became afraid. The said in verse seven of the above scriptures:
"God has come into the camp! And they said, woe to us! For such a thing has never happened before"
The Almighty God is a shield to His children. Psalms 91 vs 1:
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
It went further to say " He is my refuge and fortress. Surely He will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. 1 Corinthians 8 vs 5-6:
"For even if there so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), Yet for so there is one God, the father, of whom are all things ......."

The greatness of God is incomparable, incomprehensible and immeasurable. When King Nebuchadnezzar tried to exalt himself above the wisdom of this Almighty God, he was turned into a herbivorous animal for seven years. He abdicated the throne for that period of time, he few like sheep, wore sackcloth, unshaven, and tattered. But the greatness of God here is that for the period of seven years, his throne was not occupied. How God did it that the kingmakers never thought of replacing a mad king with a sane one is wonderful.
Here, I would like to you my wonderful friends the different strata of the greatness of God.
GREAT IN SIZE: In Genesis 1:16, He is the one that made the great lights and ordered the to rule by day and the lesser light by night. Also, in 1 Samuel 17 vs 4; Goliath of Gas was huge but God was greater. God made a revealing statement through His prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 66vs1:
"The heaven is my throne, the earth my footstool".

This is a confirmation that our God is indeed great. For Him to have made the entire earth His footstool, He can only be great, Hallelujah.
HIS GREAT HAND: He put the seas, the oceans, rivers, lagoon, streams, swamp in the hollow of His hand. What a great hand.
His GREAT EARS God hears the prayers of His elects. In Psalms 65 vs 2:
"O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come". I just imagined how many people will have to pray to God everyday and how He hears them all.
GREAT EYES: Its no more news that God sees everything going on around the globe. In 2Chronicles 16 vs 9:
"For the eyes of the Lord runs to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong......"
One can go all along to mention. Something also caught my fancy in Hebrews 4 vs 13:
"And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom all must give account".
I would love to calm it here. I few day from now, we shall conclude this episode.
