The last few days have been amazing. I have spent hours at the golf course practicing my short game, deepening my understanding for mechanics and anatomy. I purchased the Titleist Vokey SM6 L Grind 60 degree 04 bounce (razor sharp for the tight lies) and it burns rubber.
I've been holding the grip as soft as possible, drilling to find the path of least resistance.
Imagine the core is a tug boat. The hands + shaft makes the chord which is attached to the cargo boat (the club head).
You want to feel like you are dragging the heavy cargo boat using your core + leg muscle.
Let the hull of the cargo boat (the bounce) travel smoothly across the waves (the grass). If the leading edge gets stuck, the boat capsizes.
Rotate evenly and forcefully, keep the club face open and let the club zoom through on the plane - its path of least resistance.
Balance is key. This is a short movement so center of gravity should remain atop your left foot (bent knee forces all leg muscles to activate, keeping stress off joints and maintains balance).
Always - ALWAYS- keep your hands + arms in front of your body frame. Don't cheat! If you can't get all the way back there, stretch exercises til' you can.
Walk it in.
I also composed and produced the music for the video.
must b using golf speak, bc i didn't really understand most of it!
Golf speak gets weird indeed!
