If there's something I'm terribly bad at then it's at laziness.
The other day @matkodurko and I agreed on the fact that if we don't do any sports for more than 2-3 days we start to get all nervous and itchy.
You gotta go out and kill the beast 😃
So here I am back at playing golf, something I had been totally passionate about a couple of years back.
One of the most beautiful golf courses on the isle of Lanzarote is just around the corner, so I actually don't have any excuses to not give this a literal shot again.
My heart skipped a beat when I held those irons in my hand again.
Count me in on all things outdoors!
Spending the day outside is of so much value.
Only the dose of pure oxygen you breathe during your activity is able to provide you with an incredible energy boost.
Yet, golf effectively dwarfes all other type of sports I've ever been practicing, except surfing.
The ambient on a golf course is absolutely unique, and you wouldn't understand that until you've experience it yourself.
There's something magical on those wide green areas.
Why don't you play the little tournament we're going to organize at the end of the month?

The lady at the front desk kind of smelt it. Today's session on the driving range definitely got me very excited about golf again.
She must've seen it in my eyes.
Not all shots were A++ today, but I came quite close to my original swing, and that's pretty amazing considering my longer timeout.
Here's one of the short distance shots, I think hit with the iron 9.
Participating in the tournament would be totally insane.
Yet from the moment she asked me, I knew that I would.
Besides my reputation as a cool person I don't have anything to lose 😁
There are only 10 days left, so starting from today I'm actually already in full training mode.
If you don't find me online, then I'm probably hitting some balls.
