My Thought's on the New Google Pixel

Interesting enough the top of the line Pixel's price is the exact same price as the iPhone 7. For there 128 GB model. Although you can get a new Iphone 7 with 256 GB. But from the specs in comparison. I would say this is the best Android phone out there to compete with the Iphone. Very impressive features. If your other equipment is all Android/Google based [ECO System]. This is probably the best it gets on Android. When you buy a device you are not just buying a device you are investing into an eco system. Where all of your devices work together. When you invest in an Iphone you are buying into the Apple Eco system. Where all your products connect. Same here Google's Eco System. When you mix eco systems you break how everything works together. While each major company. Microsoft, Apple, Google all have some great eco systems. And very impressive products. I think this is definitely something you will want to look at when buying a device. How your devices will be able to communicate with each other. I am glad that Google came out with a great phone. As it will help push the technology further with healthy competition. One think I like is they do not add bloatware like Amazon does. While Amazon does have some decent hardware, They would have done much better by either using real Linux OS or the Real Android OS without forcing their store on people. But providing great apps for there services without breaking compatibility. I would like to see some devices that are running an Opensource Linux like Sailfish OS no rebranding that will allow inovative development. And the ability to compile your own OS for your device, leaving the security up to you rather then with Corporate America. So If you love your Androids, as many of my friends do. This is a nice device. But be cautioned when you switch as this can easily break most of your media that you put on your devices if you have been purchasing all your media from itunes. iBooks for example will not be viewable. Although you can convert your music it will be a pain if you have a lot of media. If you already have all MP3's then it should not be a problem. Movies and TV shows you will not be able to convert. see: http://www.digitaltrends.com/…/how-to-play-itunes-contentm…/ So a lot has to do with how much content you have purchased and what you are willing to part with. Something people should really look into before switching. Same thing as far as your entertainment center in your home. If you have an AppleTV, or other how this will work with your new phone. No more photostream to your AppleTV. Your Contacts Calendars will all need to migrate to your gmail account. So while this looks like an Awesome phone. Personally you will see these problems after you purchase it. Be prepared to have to convert media, as well as lose a way to view your ibooks movies and TV shows you have purchased unless you also have an ipad or Mac. My thoughts if you are planning to jump ship. I will be sticking with my IOS/Mac eco system.
