This post is a response to the question [“Is federalism more beneficial for large populations or small and why?"] (https://www.proofofbrain.blog/gradnium/@dilucadomain/week-08-questions-reclaiming-federalism-to-sustain-a-divided-nation) posted by @dilucadomain

Lets Break it Down
I believe that Federalism is less beneficial to the smaller population because of the majority representation that is seen throughout the cities, states, and government. Although I do believe that it is important to have the break down of power to balance the voices of the people at smaller scales, I would say it could be broken down even further to help underrepresented populations within the cities. Looking at most city representatives or state governors, they are voted by the majority and in turn lose the voice of the minorities at times. The more centralized and less broken up power gets the more minorities' voices get taken away from them. With this being said, a further breakdown of power and representation by zone might even be considered for cities. There is evidence that there are zones where there are higher populations of minorities and also zones where there is a higher population of majority. If there was a representative per zone, the voices of the minorities may be heard more frequently. Looking at economics, the lower-income class is less heard than the upper or middle-class populations. They too are important to be heard because everyone has varying circumstances in their daily lives and just listening to the majority can in turn hurt a whole population of people.
