Week 03 -- Response -- Yes, change is a good thing

in #gradnium4 years ago

This entry is a response to the question, "If our economy continues to have a constant cycle of change do you think we have a good system?"
(https://ecency.com/questions/@anniebburg/week-03-questions-the-seen-and-the-unseen-taxation-and-regulation-and-the-unrealized) posed by @anniebburg.

I believe our economy's constant cycle of change is a direct result of our society's never-ending demand for bigger and better. The more society wants, the more our market feels the need to alter, advance, and improve itself. Just because change is constantly in motion, does not mean change has to be a negative quality of our system. With that being said, I do not believe the quality of our supply and demand system should be in question due to society's desire for more. Instead, I believe society is responsible for sparking the change in the first place. In fact, it’s our society’s high expectations and demands that fuel our economy to continuously find ways to build on what we have for the better. Since our system does occasionally need the adjustments and enhancements society asks for, the constant cycle of change has more benefits than disadvantages. If anything, our system continues to improve itself and learn from previous mistakes as time goes on; as long as we continue to use the demand to analyze and tweak mistakes, our economic system can remain in motion as is. We all know our world will never be satisfied with what we have, therefore a constantly changing system is the closest solution our economy has towards pleasing humanity.
