Well, I have to give you 100% for drawing a person in with a picture of the film vampire Edward Cullen lol. Who can resist a picture of Robert Pattinson? And I was intrigued as to how he related to Prof. Trost's lectures haha. Not being American or being exposed to this history, I find the info shared in your reflection completely incredible. Fancy being in a position to be debt-free and then allowing greed and pride to take over and place the entire country into a vulnerable position. Seems like Collins was a cunning individual indeed. I think we see a lot of this nowadays in politics too, and often in reverse. People from political backgrounds using their position of influence to gain leverage in the commercial sphere where they can control the media, company boards, investment decisions. It seems to work in both directions and its a sad indictment of our society, and this applies to both sides of the pond. I am a South African (and British Citizen) living in the UK and I see it here and in the States. Let's hope the electorates, Political Houses, and/or Parliaments in both countries continue to hold these individuals to account.
