What is an Isologo?

An Isologo is the term that is used to talk about the kind of logo in which the text and the icon make up the image, but which are fused and are totally inseparable. In this case, they are two elements totally and perfectly united, so that both complement each other perfectly.

This is what we emphasize so much that differentiates this element from the imagotype. In the latter, the symbol and the text can go separately, giving rise to both the logo and the isotype; however, in the isologo there is no place for separation, since the design would break and lose its capacity to be recognizable.

It is the fourth category of the logos, which is normally outside the 3 main ones because of its unique character and that requirement. In fact, it is the most complicated concept with which designers work, since it prevents the separation with which the other two logos would be achieved with which to continue to penetrate the consumer's mind.

There are many large companies that turn to this and that, in fact, have the Isologo as the only representative symbol. It may seem like a risky and impractical maneuver; but well implemented is perfect for corporate identity.

What is an Isologo for?
An Isologo serves, in conjunction with the above, to finish shaping the identity of a company or a brand. The combination of text and image becomes a total fusion, which helps transmit the name of the signature easily, but also makes the public associate any symbol similar to it.

Its usefulness is simply to facilitate recognition by the audience and allow the presence to be more noticeable. If you design something original and especially striking, you get a greater capture of consumers and, therefore, more possibility of having leads that translate into customers. In the same way, it also helps to reinforce the presence and identification of the brand in any possible format and medium.
