Sometimes I wonder if the irony is ever noticed by many of the progressives that they say Russia this...Russia that...then tend to use soviet style propaganda techniques to disperse information. Everyone knows eighty-five to ninety percent of the media is non-traditional, progressive, leftist, trendy ( I don't use the word liberal because most people don't understand what classical liberalism actually means) whatever terminology one wants to use at the time. However, this isn't Russia. This is the United States of America. Sure, we screw up but we're pretty good and big on what is called due process. I'm not here to do a Trump commercial. I don't want nation building, stay off twitter for the most part, (he needs to cut some more waste in his budget and effectively explain why he is doing so to the people) Military and domestic spending would be covered.
Trump is going to have his work cut out for him in a country where individuals rely more and more heavily on the federal, state, and local governments to survive. Progressives kind of set it up that way. ;) So far the only evidence is a fired employee (fired by Trump) who communicated with Russia during the transition and had some loan or lobbying interest supposedly. We're in America people. People are innocent until proven guilty. Even people that call out the media (especially them...that's what rights
are for) and sometimes make us scratch our heads regarding twitter.
It's interesting how the liberal left has attacked Trump for his ALLEGED ties to Russia. Why is it interesting? Because when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, she helped broker the "Uranium One" deal; which resulted in the sale of up to 25% of the U.S. Uranium Ore stockpiles to Russia. Then what did her campaign manager John Podesta do? Point the finger at Trump and say, "Oh yeah, that guy right there has ties to Russia!"
It's not unusual for political candidates to meet with foreign dignitaries in their quest to reach political office in America. Especially when they're not actually conducting foreign policy as PRIVATE CITIZENS. It's not even unusual for politicians to admire other politicians (e.g. Gorbachev admiring Reagan).
It's a shame that we're living in a world more like the novel 1984 than ever before, not to be too cliche.
